MAY CROWNING

The Secular Franciscans gathered at the Friary chapel today to crown Mary during her month of May.  Isabel M. Camacho had the honor this year of crowning her.

Anyone who wanted was able to come up after the crowning and offer his or her own floral gift to Our Lady.  At the end, Our Lady's altar was covered with flowers.

Most of the Secular Franciscans gathered after Mass for this photo with Pale' Jose Villagomez and Pale' Eric Forbes.

Pale' Jose blessed the meal shared by all after the Mass.

SAN FRANCISCO FRATERNITY OF THE SFO

Established so far back we can't be sure when (probably the 1910s), the San Francisco Fraternity of the SFO is the pioneer of the two SFO fraternities on Guam, and meets every first Sunday of the month at the Friary.  They keep alive the Franciscan tradition in the Chamorro language.
