WELCOME TO TWO MORE FRIARS

Fr. Eddie Dowley, an Irish friar working in Korea, is helping at Santa Teresita parish in Mangilao this month.  He has been to Guam several times now and graciously helps whenever he can.

Fr. Bob Udulutsch, from the St. Joseph Province (Detroit), is pictured here at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament parish in Agana Heights, but will be helping at more than one parish this summer.  This, too, is not his first summer helping out the Guam friars.

What is the mystical meaning behind the ceremonies, gestures and actions at Mass?

This is what is being discussed at a class lead by Father Eric on the Extraordinary Form.  Tuesdays and Wednesdays every week in June, 7pm at the Friary.

ADIOS GAVIN!

Postulant Gavin Diego (standing) is leaving this Sunday to begin a new phase of his Capuchin formation.  He will be one of around two dozen men from the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia who will form the new novitiate class 2012-2013.  The first few months are spent in a friary in Kansas continuing the postulancy program; then off to Santa Ynez, California for the full-year of novitiate.

Before long, Gavin will be wearing the brown habit of a Capuchin novice!  Safe trip Gavin!  God go with you!
